The first leg of the 2025 African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifiers between Ghana and Nigeria ended in a goalless draw in Accra.

The likes of Sunday Faleye and Chijioke Akuneto worked tirelessly to penetrate Ghana’s defense but were ultimately frustrated by a well-organized backline.
With the result, all eyes now shift to the return leg in Uyo next weekend, where the Home-Based Super Eagles will have the advantage of home support as they look to secure a spot in the CHAN tournament.
