The Abia State Governor, Alex Otti, has expanded the Governing Council of Abia State University (ABSU), Uturu, by approving the appointment of seven additional members.
The announcement was made in a press release signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Ukoha Ukoha, on Monday.
According to the statement, “These appointees will join other statutory members of the council who had been earlier announced to run the board of the University. These appointments take immediate effect.”
The newly appointed members include:
- Elelenta Nwabuisi Elele, PHD
- Stanley Onyekachi Okonta
- Idris Korform Wabara
- Rt. Rev. Nkechi Udunma Nwosu PHD
- Eng. Kalu Nto
- Monday Ubani, SAN
- Chinyere Juliet Okeziem-Nwoko
