In a bold move that underscores his commitment to timely service delivery, Pastor Umo Eno, the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, has inaugurated a 13-man Project Monitoring and Delivery Team. This team, carefully selected from various Senatorial Districts, is tasked with the responsibility of monitoring and ensuring the timely completion of all ongoing projects across the State. This deliberate and intentional approach to governance is a hallmark of Pastor Umo Eno’s leadership style, which emphasizes results over excuses.
With the inauguration of this team, Pastor Umo Eno has sent a clear message that his administration will not tolerate any form of complacency or lack of accountability. To him, it’s results or you’re out – a mantra that has become the driving force behind his team’s efforts to deliver quality projects to Akwa Ibomites. The Governor’s emphasis on timely completion and quality delivery is a testament to his commitment to serving the people of Akwa Ibom State with integrity and dedication.
The Project Monitoring and Delivery Team, which will be working closely with the various Ministries responsible for each project, is expected to provide regular updates on the progress of each project. This will enable the Governor to take prompt action in addressing any challenges that may arise, ensuring that projects are completed on time and to the required standard. By adopting this proactive approach, Pastor Umo Eno is demonstrating his resolve to eliminate excuses and ensure that his administration delivers on its promises to the people.
One of the most significant advantages of this approach is that it promotes accountability and transparency in governance. By having a dedicated team to monitor and report on project progress, Pastor Umo Eno is ensuring that his administration remains focused on delivering results, rather than making excuses. This is a refreshing departure from the usual culture of complacency and lack of accountability that has often characterized governance in our State.
Pastor Umo Eno’s leadership style is not one that accommodates lackies or weaklings. He demands the highest level of performance from his team members, and his expectation is that they will deliver results, not excuses. This approach has already begun to yield dividends, as evidenced by the progress being made on various projects across the State. With this team in place, Akwa Ibomites can expect even more timely and effective service delivery from their government.
As Pastor Umo Eno continues to drive his vision for Akwa Ibom State, it is clear that he will not tolerate any form of waste or inefficiency. In Eket Senatorial District, Engineer Ime Akpan is at the helm, overseeing 39 road construction projects and 22 other projects.
