LEEDS United have become the latest English club to show an interest in Super Eagles striker Kelechi Iheanacho, according to reports.

Iheanacho is available for a late January loan move after failing to earn a regular spot at LaLiga club Sevilla.

Leeds, who are in the second-tier Championship, have shortlisted and made contact over a deal for the Nigeria international but face strong competition from clubs in England and across Europe’s top leagues, according to Football Insider.

The outlet also claimed last week that English Premier League clubs Wolves and Ipswich Town had opened preliminary talks to sign the 28-year-old Iheanacho.

The Super Eagles star left Leicester City to join Sevilla on a free transfer only last August following the Foxes’ promotion to the Premier League.

The former Manchester City forward has made 11 appearances across all competitions for Sevilla this season, scoring three goals.

He is under contract with Sevilla until June 2026, with the Spanish club holding the option to extend his deal an extra 12 months.
