BELLO Turji is reportedly on the run as troops of Operation FANSAN YAMMA killed numerous terrorists, including the son of the notorious terror kingpin, during a raid in Zamfara.

In a statement issued today, Major General Edward Buba, Director of Defence Media Operations for the Armed Forces, revealed that the operation took place on January 17.

It involved a coordinated effort between ground troops and the air component, targeting areas along the Shinkafi, Kagara, Fakai, Moriki, Maiwa, and Chindo axis.

The operation led to the elimination of many terrorists, including Bello Turjiโ€™s son, who was killed at Fakai high ground where the group had been hiding.
