Singer Victony has provided a poignant update regarding his ongoing health challenges, indicating that he continues to suffer from leg pain despite having undergone four surgical procedures.

His difficulties began in 2021 following a tragic car accident that resulted in one fatality and injuries to three other individuals.

Having been confined to a wheelchair for nearly a year, Victony recently shared his experiences with Chude Jideonwo. He revealed that a fifth surgery is planned to alleviate the persistent discomfort.

The artist also reflected on the emotional impact of the accident, expressing feelings of “survivor’s guilt” upon learning of the loss of life in the incident.

Following the accident, Victony spent three to four days in a coma and has since come to terms with the events he endured.

Victony said: “My leg still hurts. I am still going to do another surgery. I’m living it. I have just accepted that experience.

“It’s what is making me who I am today. That’s my story. I don’t want to happily identify with it but it’s part of my story,”
