In a video, he expressed that the award organizers showed favoritism in their selection of winners.
He pointed out that they didn’t know the Yoruba language, which is why Asake didn’t receive an award at the event.
Oloba Salo, who recently appeared online after being shot, mentioned that Asake’s song deserved an award.
He performed a popular song by the singer known for “Lonely at the Top” and mentioned that his mother left him a long time ago.
In another clip, Oloba Salo showed off his award and said it was his Grammy Award.
He mentioned that the icon had his chin in his hand.
Additionally, Oloba Salo was the sole celebrity to comment on Tems winning the Best African Music Performance.
Portable also criticized Davido and Asake after they lost to Tems at the award show.
