Kano Govt Launches Kwankwasiyya Twitter Advocates for Project Promotion

The Kano State Commissioner for Information and Internal Affairs, Comrade Ibrahim Abdullahi Waiya, has inaugurated the Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf Projects Promotion Advocates for Kwankwasiyya Twitter, a platform aimed at showcasing the achievements of the Kano State Government and fostering unity within the Kwankwasiyya Twitter (X) community.  

Speaking at the inauguration, Comrade Waiya said the initiative would use social media to highlight Governor Yusuf’s projects. He added that the platform would raise awareness of ongoing projects across various sectors and encourage collaboration among digital advocates.

“Governor Yusuf has made remarkable contributions to the development of Kano State, and it is our responsibility to highlight these achievements,” Waiya stated. “This initiative is a collective effort to educate the public and strengthen unity within our digital space,” he added.

He further said the initiative would help document and promote the work of Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, ensuring his projects receive both local and global recognition.

In his acceptance speech, the newly elected Chairman of the group, Muktar Sadiq, thanked the members for the opportunity to lead.

He said he would work closely with them to raise public awareness of the state’s projects.

“I am honored to serve in this capacity and commit to working tirelessly to inform our community about the positive developments in Kano State,” Muktar said.
