Sanwo-Olu congratulates Lagos monarch on 25th coronation, 80th birthday
The Governor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has congratulated the Oloja of Epe land, Paramount Ruler and Chairman, Obas and Chiefs in Epe Division, Oba Kamorudeen Animashaun, on the twin celebrations of his 25th coronation anniversary and his 80th birthday.
Sanwo-Olu, in a congratulatory statement on Saturday, by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr. Gboyega Akosile, praised the monarch for his unwavering dedication to the development of Epe and his selfless service to the community.
Describing the Oloja of Epe land as an exemplary leader, the governor said, “Oba Animashaun deserves all the accolades for the impactful and purposeful life that he has lived, especially in the last 25 years of his reign as the Oloja of Epeland. He is an epitome of dedication and selflessness in community service.”
The governor further commended the traditional ruler’s leadership qualities and his significant contributions to the progress of Epe, stating, “Since ascending the throne of his forefathers as Oloja of Epe 25 years ago, Oba Animashaun has displayed exemplary leadership in his domain.
“I commend his passion and commitment to the growth and development of Epe land as paramount ruler and the State as the Vice Chairman, Obas and Chiefs in Lagos State.”
Highlighting the monarch’s role in fostering peace and progress in Epe, Sanwo-Olu also lauded his development policies, adding, “The people of the Epe division are lucky to have a dedicated, principled, and disciplined monarch as their paramount ruler.”
On behalf of his family and the state government, Sanwo-Olu extended his warmest wishes to the royal father, saying, “On behalf of my wife, Ibijoke, and family, the government, and the people of Lagos State, I congratulate the Oloja of Epe land, His Royal Majesty, Oba Kamorudeen Ishola Animashaun, on his 25th coronation anniversary.
“I also felicitate the monarch on the auspicious occasion of his 80th birthday.”
Praying for continued strength and wisdom for the monarch, the governor concluded with a heartfelt wish, “As Oba Animashaun celebrates his 25 years on the throne and also joins the Octogenarian Club, it is my prayer that the Almighty God will continue to bestow on him good health, wisdom, knowledge, and understanding for a continuous reign of peace and prosperity in Epe land. He will witness many more fruitful years on the throne of his forefathers.”
