A video that appeared online shows Akpabio asking Akpoti-Uduaghan to exit the Senate chamber, igniting conversations on the internet.

During the debate, Senator Yemi Adaramodu called for tough disciplinary actions, saying, “Where there is sin, there must be a penalty.”

Senate Leader Opeyemi Bamidele emphasized the importance of maintaining the Senate’s integrity and following its rules.

‘’There is no one who does not have an opinion on this issue, but we are unified by our rules. Under our watch, we will not allow this institution to be discredited beyond what we inherited. Integrity is non-negotiable.” Bamidele stated.
