Audio recordings have surfaced online in which socialite Sophia Egbueje expresses her disappointment regarding Burna Boy’s promise to purchase her a Lamborghini after a brief encounter.

In response to the unfolding situation, Benny took to Twitter to imply that if the circumstances were reversed and Davido were the one under scrutiny, the narrative would have been markedly different. He suggested that Davido would have resorted to begging for intimacy from Sophia, even after gifting her the Lamborghini.

He tweeted, “sophie collect lamba instead of lambo. you wan use yansh collect brand new Lamborghini. lagos girls no dey even fear at all. which kind exchange rate be that? using your yansh to acquire a lambo means you’ll use your yansh to maintain it forever. what a sad life. we all know davido would’ve knelt down to beg for sex from her after getting her the brand new lambo. zero street OT.”

In other news, Controversial activist VeryDarkMan (VDM) has raised alarm over an alleged plot by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to frame and arrest him.

In a video posted on his Instagram page, VDM revealed that he had received insider information about a scheme to target him due to his outspoken criticism of the EFCC and its chairman, Olanipekun Olukoyede.

VDM’s Allegations

According to him, a prominent lawyer and an influential social media personality recently visited the EFCC office in Abuja to present evidence against him.

The alleged evidence includes a video of him spraying money at an event—an act that could be interpreted as naira abuse, which is illegal in Nigeria.

VDM further claimed that an EFCC officer confirmed that he was on their watch list, citing his frequent criticisms of the agency and its leadership.

His Statement

“EFCC Abuja, I heard you had two visitors today—one is an influencer, and the other, a very big lawyer. They came because of me, bringing clips of me spraying money, and told EFCC, ‘This is the opportunity to go after VeryDarkMan.’”

“The officer they spoke to agreed, saying, ‘Yes, VeryDarkMan has been coming for us and talking rudely about our Oga.’ Now you people’s interests have aligned, and you are teaming up against me.”
