“Osho free no good” – Cubana Chief Priest slams Burna Boy over Sophia Egbueje’s Lambo controversy

Businessman Cubana Chief Priest has publicly ridiculed Burna Boy following the circulation of a leaked audio featuring Sophia Egbueje.

It has come to light that several audio recordings surfaced online, showcasing the well-known socialite, Sophia Egbueje, expressing her frustration over Burna Boy’s failure to keep a promise made to her.

In the audio, Sophia Egbueje detailed her initial encounter with Burna Boy and his efforts to engage in a romantic relationship with her.

She disclosed that, after considerable persuasion, she ultimately had a physical relationship with Burna Boy, who had promised to present her with a Lamborghini valued at approximately 500 million naira.

However, following their encounter, Burna Boy did not fulfill his commitment.

In response to this unfolding situation, Cubana Chief Priest took to his Instagram story to deride Burna Boy, labeling his wealth as “audio money.”

He asserted that the artist deceived Sophia, fully aware that her livelihood depended on such promises.

Cubana Chief Priest said; “Osho free no good oh Make una dey promise wetin una fit do. All this audio money here & dia. Shebi you say you de pay cash & carry. This is pure scam na her business be that and you know, na you still hustle her why defraud her for ordinary lambo truck. Ashawo na old business wey no go ever stop, brotherhood is super ashamed.”

In other news, Award-winning actress and producer, Funke Akindele, has credited her success in Nollywood to hard work, dedication, and divine intervention. Speaking at the 2025 Media Sales Conference in Lagos, organized by the Media Independent Practitioners Association of Nigeria (MIPAN), Akindele emphasized that she is a self-made star, attributing her rise to stardom solely to God.

Reflecting on her career journey, Akindele revealed that her major breakthrough came with the release of “Jenifa” in 2009, a film that turned her into a household name. She recalled a pivotal moment when she met music star D’banj at a club after the success of Jenifa:

“Nobody made me a star, only God. I wrote my script, and that was it. The first ‘Jenifa’ was released in 2009, and that was the turning point.”

She shared how D’banj encouraged her to expand the “Jenifa” brand, advising her to write a sequel instead of moving on to another project.

“Amidst the buzz, a club owner reached out to host me at his club, and I met D’banj there. He asked what I was doing with the ‘Jenifa’ brand. I said, ‘I have moved on. I will do another thing.’ He said, ‘No. You have to milk it. It should not go like that. That’s a brand. Go and write another script.’ He gave me some money, and I went back and continued writing.”
