VIDEO: Oyo introduces tyre spikes to stop wrong-way driving

The Oyo State Government has introduced One-Way tyre spikes as a deterrent against wrong-way driving.
A viral video making rounds on social media showcases the new enforcement tool in action. The spikes are designed to puncture the tyres of vehicles attempting to go against traffic, ensuring stricter adherence to road regulations.
Sharing the footage on X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday, OyoAffairs stated, “To prevent motorists from driving the wrong way on one-way roads, the Oyo State Government has started installing ‘One-Way Tyre Spikes.’ This one here is located along Idi-Ape.”
However, the state government has yet to issue an official statement regarding the widespread implementation of the measure.
