Osimhen carrying Galatasaray –Turkish pundit

Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen has been singled out as the sole driving force behind Galatasaray’s title challenge, with prominent Turkish football commentator Emre Bol delivering a scathing critique of the team’s other players for their perceived lack of effort and commitment.

In a passionate analysis shared on the Ekol Sports YouTube channel, Bol emphatically declared that Osimhen has been carrying Galatasaray almost single-handedly through the current season.

The Super Eagles star has been nothing short of exceptional since joining the Turkish side on loan during the summer transfer window, delivering a remarkable performance that has positioned Galatasaray at the top of the Turkish League table. Osimhen’s numbers speak volumes with 22 goals and six assists in just 28 appearances.

“For weeks, Victor Osimhen has been carrying Galatasaray,” Bol stated unequivocally.

“The others are not showing any effect. Other players do not show half the fight of Osimhen, who is on loan.”

The Turkish pundit did not hold back in his criticism of the rest of the squad saying, “There is no running, no fighting, no head-butting of the kick.”

Bol feels that the Nigerian striker has set a standard of performance and passion that his teammates have singularly failed to match. His comments reflect a growing frustration among fans and analysts who have witnessed Galatasaray’s momentum stalling despite Osimhen’s heroic individual efforts.

Coach Okan Buruk now finds himself under increasing pressure to find solutions and motivate his players to approach the game with the same intensity and dedication demonstrated by Osimhen.

The striker’s impact has been transformative. Since arriving in Turkey after failed transfer attempts last summer, Osimhen has quickly become the heartbeat of the Galatasaray attack, consistently delivering performances that have kept the team’s title hopes alive.

On multiple occasions, the striker’s goals have rescued them from the jaws of defeat as his brace did in their last game against Kasimpasa which ended 3-3.

Osimhen has brought a level of fight and determination that seems to be missing from his teammates, according to Bol’s assessment. His work rate, positioning, and relentless approach have made him stand out in a team that appears to be overly reliant on his individual brilliance.

While Osimhen’s contributions are undoubtedly praiseworthy, the apparent lack of similar commitment from other players could potentially undermine Galatasaray’s long-term ambitions with Fenerbahce behind the leaders by just four points.
