“I’ve forgiven my wife for cheating but won’t take her back” – Ijoba Lande reveals

• Ijoba Lande, a comedian and actor, has expressed his decision to forgive his cheating wife, Darasimi, but will not accept her back.

Comedian and actor Ganiyu Kehinde Morufu, widely recognized as Ijoba Lande, has stated that he has opted to forgive his unfaithful wife, Darasimi, although he will not take her back into his life.

In a discussion with Daddy Freeze, Lande expressed that their relationship is beyond repair.

He highlighted that his choice to forgive stems from a desire to move on and attain inner peace.

In response to the infidelity allegations, Darasimi asserted that the situation arose from a game of ‘Truth or Dare’ and insisted that no romantic involvement took place.

He said: “I won’t accept her back, but for me to make heaven and for God to forgive all my sins, I will forgive her. She has done her own, I forgive her, but it’s gone. Do you understand?”

Ijoba Lande also reflected on the importance of personal development, encouraging individuals to learn from their past and to be wary of repeating previous errors.

He emphasized that while forgiveness is crucial, it is equally vital to avoid reliving past grievances.

“No matter what someone does to you in life, if they ask for your forgiveness, please forgive them, but don’t allow the thing to repeat itself. Don’t allow the mistake you make repeat itself,” he added.

The 43-year-old acclaimed musician characterized Tiwa Savage as a reliable and gifted presence within the music scene.

In a recent discussion on the Capital Xtra podcast, Craig David alluded to his intention to work with Savage on the track titled ‘Commitment’.

He mentioned that his song was 70% finished when he inquired with his team about potential collaborators, and they collectively recommended Tiwa Savage.

“I have been a big fan of Tiwa for years. When it comes to Afrobeats, she has been holding it down for so long. She is not just consistent; she is also an amazing vocalist,” he said.

“We were all in the studio, brainstorming, and someone said, ‘What about Tiwa Savage?’ I was like, ‘What about Tiwa? That is a great idea!’ So, we reached out to her, not knowing if she would be interested or if we would just get ignored. But she came back so graciously.

“She said, ‘Even if the song was not that great, I still would have jumped on it’. That is when I knew this was love. She got on the track, and next thing you know, we had this amazing song that perfectly blends our worlds.

“It went from fire emojis to voice notes. The way her ad-libs hit? It was next level. We were both gassed.”

David expressed that Tiwa Savage was “everything I could’ve imagined and more” upon their meeting.

“Meeting her for the first time was everything I could have imagined and more. She is so gracious, and her talent is just insane. She is like, ‘Yeah, it’s good stuff,’ and I’m like, ‘No, you’re the good stuff!’” he added.
