Governor Bala Mohammed’s Uncle Dies at 100

Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, has announced the passing of his uncle, Alhaji Muhammadu Abdulkadir, the Village Head of Alkaleri, who died at the age of 100 after a prolonged illness.  

In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mukhtar Gidado, Governor Mohammed described the late traditional leader as “a pillar of wisdom and an embodiment of dedication to his community.”

The governor noted that Alhaji Muhammadu Abdulkadir’s century-long life was marked by “commitment to the principles of good leadership and service.” As the Village Head of Alkaleri, he played a crucial role in fostering unity and development within the community and beyond.

The funeral prayer for the late village head is scheduled to take place today at 10:00 AM at the Village Head’s Palace in Alkaleri.

Governor Bala Mohammed extended his condolences to the family and the people of Alkaleri, praying, “May Almighty Allah grant his departed soul eternal rest in Jannatul Firdaus and bestow strength upon the family and community to bear this profound loss.”
