Ramadan Relief: AMG Eases Kano’s Vulnerable Food Struggles; V-PeSDI Praises Outreach

The Vulnerable People Support and Development Initiative (V-PeSDI) commended the Aminu Magashi Garba (AMG) Foundation for its humanitarian efforts in Kano State.

Speaking during a Ramadan feeding program at the Kano Remand Home and Vesico-Vaginal Fistula (VVF) Center, V-PeSDI Coordinator Hannatu Suleiman Abba highlighted the foundation’s support for vulnerable groups during the holy month.

“This intervention aims to alleviate the stress and struggles faced by vulnerable people in the state, particularly those who find it difficult to secure food while observing the obligatory Islamic act of worship,” Abba stated.

She noted that the AMG Foundation has been providing sustained support to underprivileged communities, with thousands benefiting from its initiatives. This year marks the foundation’s fourth consecutive Ramadan feeding program.

AMG Foundation official Malam Suleiman Jalo emphasized their collaboration with V-PeSDI to implement projects statewide.

“The foundation has supported V-PeSDI in carrying out activities, including covering medical bills for vulnerable individuals, distributing wheelchairs at higher institutions for students with mobility challenges, sponsoring educational programs, and renovating school toilets,” Jalo said.
