Tinubu congratulates lawyer, Pinheiro, on 60th birthday

President Bola Tinubu has congratulated renowned legal practitioner, Dr. Oluwakemi Pinheiro, SAN, on his 60th birthday.

Pinheiro has been a key figure in Nigeria’s legal landscape, contributing significantly to jurisprudence and legal reforms over his 38-year career.

He is the founder of the law firm, Pinheiro LP, and has served in various capacities to advance the legal profession in Nigeria.

In a statement issued on Friday by his Special Adviser to the President on Information and  Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu praised Pinheiro’s contributions to the legal sector, highlighting his tenure as the former Special Assistant to the Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice in Lagos State.

The President also acknowledged his role as a member of the Institute of Chartered Arbitrators of Nigeria and his service as Chairman of the Lagos State Law Reform Commission.

“President Tinubu joins members of the Pinheiro family, friends, and associates to celebrate the legal luminary and founder of Pinheiro LP,” Onanuga stated.

The President commended Pinheiro’s dedication to mentoring the next generation of legal professionals and encouraged him to continue his efforts in driving reforms within the legal system.

“While commending the distinguished legal practitioner for his commitment to mentoring the next generation of legal minds, President Tinubu encourages Dr. Pinheiro to continue advancing reforms in the legal profession,” the statement read.

Tinubu also offered prayers for Pinheiro, wishing him continued success and divine blessings in his personal and professional endeavours.

“President Tinubu prays for God’s continued blessings on the learned silk,” Onanuga concluded.
